Innocence

Image
Have you ever seen such an innocent looking face in your life?  He's such a baby and wonderful companion!  We got him when he was only 8 weeks old and he was the only "fawn" color in the bunch! Most were white like their Mother. I was not intending to get another dog at this time, because our beloved Sheltie, (Sam) was 12 years old and was starting to go blind and had already lost his hearing, and we had to have a tumor removed from his chest that was cancerous. I wasn't ready to deal with this so getting another dog was not on my top ten list.  Our cleaning lady at the time had a friend whose dog had just had a litter of pups though and he was getting divorced and needed to sell them. Well, I warned him right away that we could just go look because it was a nice day

I broke my neck and had multiple scalp injuries since my convertible (the top was up) went down an embankment and rolled over several times! Thank God, He had everyone I needed there within minutes. I was taken to the hospital trauma unit and underwent surgery to immediately close up some of the head wounds, and the next day had to have cervical surgery to fuse the vertebrae in my neck and the plastic surgeon was called in to take care of the rest of the scalp injuries. One year later, aft
