In the Beginning....
Genesis 1:1 in our English translation of the Bible, tells us that "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." The Restoration Bible tells us that "In the beginning Elohim created... " "Elohim, A leph T aw, created".. the aleph and taw represent the first and last letters of the Hebrew alphabet and are a sign of the direct object in Hebrew grammar and likely depict the presence of both the Father and Son at creation, corresponding with John 1:1-3. This may also parallel several passages in Revelation, where both the Father and Son are referred to as the alpha and omega (Rev. 1:8; 21:6; 22:13); these first and last letters of the Greek alphabet correspond to the Hebrew aleph taw.
